The official release of the 2016-2017 NBA schedule should come some time in the next week or so, but ESPN’s Marc Stein has reported several interesting games of note involving the Warriors that are provisionally set in place.
One of the most anticipated games of the season will surely be Kevin Durant’s return to Oklahoma City, which is reportedly scheduled for Saturday, February 11. Stein also reported that the first actual meeting between the two teams will take place in Oakland on November 3.
In addition, it has been expected that the Dubs would take on the Cavaliers on Christmas for the second year in a row in a rematch of last year’s finals. Stein confirmed this speculation as well on Monday, while adding that the star-studded matchup would take place in Cleveland this year, rather than in Oakland where it was played last season.
With what will likely be Golden State’s two biggest games of the regular season now tentatively confirmed, Warriors fans will circle their calendars for December 25th and February 11th as the must-watch games of the year.
