Because of their game on Thursday Night Football, the 49ers coaching staff had a rare weekend off, and a refreshed Chip Kelly gave an entertaining interview Monday morning on the Murph and Mac show.
Kelly was giving a detailed explanation on why the conspiracy that he won’t play Colin Kaepernick because of his contract stipulation is false.
“You answer questions better than the presidential candidates,” Murph said.
“Don’t lump me in with them two,” Kelly quipped.
“Hashtag vote for Chip,” laughed Paulie Mac.
Kelly has received praise from his players earlier this season when standing up for Colin Kaepernick’s right to protest.
