New Oakland A’s president says a new stadium would be fitting for new regime

asShortly after A’s part-owner Lew Wolff made public he would be selling his shares of the Oakland Athletics, San Jose Earthquakes president Dave Kaval announced he would be assuming the same role for the A’s. He will continue to serve as President of the Earthquakes and spearhead the team’s general manager search.
“I am looking forward to taking on this new role with the Athletics and I am equally committed to continuing to build on what we are doing here at the Earthquakes,” said Kaval who will split his duties between the Earthquakes and A’s.
Kaval joined KNBR 1050’s Ted Ramey to discuss the familiar role with his new team and whether or not a new stadium is a realistic possibility in the near future.
