OAKLAND – Derek Carr and Latavius Murray bought courtside tickets to the Golden State Warriors game for their offensive on Monday night. After the game, the group took some shots in front of a few hundred fans who stuck around to watch.

It was another historic night out at Oracle Arena in Oakland California, with Klay Thompson going for 60 points in only 29 minutes. Steve Kerr explained the scene in the locker room after the big game, and it might not be what you would expect.

Oddly enough, this wasn’t the first time we saw Warriors’ part owner Joe Lacob profess his…admiration(?) for one of the NBA’s best scorers.

Klay Thompson just scored 60 points, the Warriors smoked (pun intended) the visiting Pacers by 36 points. Naturally, the youthful Steph Curry took the opportunity to dump a combination of ice and liquid on the sizzling hot Thompson as he was giving CSN Bay Area’s Ros Gold-Onwude a postgame interview.

Monday’s brilliance from Thompson will stack up right against his 41-point performance against OKC in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, and his 37-point third quarter in January of 2015 against the Kings.

There are lots of alley oop passes in the NBA and many of them land in nice, highlight-reel worthy plays. Then there was this alley oop.

Derek Carr and Latavius Murray decided to buy the the offensive line courtside tickets to the Warriors game. And they picked a good game, as the crew was there to watch Klay Thompson pour in 40 points in the first half.

Thompson’s 30th point came on one of the most ridiculous heat-check, turnaround three’s you’ll ever see — and he buried it.

For the second week in a row, defensive end Khalil Mack made his case for Defensive Player of the Year, with another strip sack to clinch the game.

According to PFF’s Jeff Deeney, Buckner’s 739 snaps lead all interior linemen in the NFL. That’s extra impressive considering Buckner missed a Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.
