OAKLAND – Steve Kerr doesn’t usually bite his tongue when has something to say, and Wednesday night was no different.

Steph Curry currently holds the NBA’s single-game record for made 3s in a game with 13. Against the visiting Hornets Curry had 11 before the start of the 4th quarter…and Steve Kerr decided to keep his two-time MVP on the bench for the entirety of the 4th.

No doubt Kerr was anticipating a question after the game surrounding his decision to keep Curry on the bench, and had a sarcastic remark ready to go.

“I never gave one seconds thought of putting Steph back in,” Kerr said. “Was I supposed to?”

“Well he had 11 threes, a couple shy of his record…” said ESPN’s Chris Haynes.

“Oh that’s right, I forgot I’m supposed to coach to think about records. That’s totally my fault,” Kerr said.
