OAKLAND – It may not have been Game 3 of the first round of the 2007 NBA Playoffs for the Stephen Jackson and the rest of the “We Believe” squad Tuesday night at Oracle Arena, but the ovation they received still deafening.
The Warriors decided to honor the beloved underdog team from 2007 in between the first and second quarters Tuesday night, in honor of the ten year anniversary of their remarkable run to the eighth seed in the Western Conference and, eventually, an upset of the one-seeded Mavericks in the first round.
