In a move that has been expected for sometime, beloved Warriors sideline reporter Ros Gold-Onwude has accepted a full-time role with Turner Sports, ending a three-year run with NBA Sports Bay Area. Turner sports made the announcement via Twitter on Friday.

A popular figure in the Bay Area, the writing was on the wall that the former Stanford star might soon be moving to the big time, after she was asked to do sideline coverage for Turner during the NCAA tournament in March. Shortly after TNT’s announcement on Friday, Gold-Onwude thanked the Warriors, he former employers and the Bay Area.

In addition to her success with the microphone, Gold-Onwude, 30, was a standout college basketball player at Stanford and is a former Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year.
