Pachulia on Jordan Bell stealing his putback dunk: ‘Thirsty. No Respect’

OAKLAND–If the 2017 NBA preseason is any indication, Jordan Bell is going to do preeeeetty, pretty well in the NBA (Larry David voice).

Bell completely stuffed the stat sheet in the Warriors’ final tune-up game of the preseason against the Sacramento Kings. The Oregon product scored 10 points in just under 25 minutes, along with 11 rebounds, 4 assists and two blocks.

He also had one of the splash-plays of the night, when midway through the third quarter he jumped out of the gym, over Zaza Pachulia and put back a rebound with his left hand.

After the game a member of the media asked Zaza what he thought about his new teammate stealing his dunk.

“And a rebound,” Zaza said. “Two points and a rebound. Thirsty. No respect.”

After Bell skied for the putback, he stared at his left hand as he ran back down the court.

“I was just having some fun with it,” Bell said. “Zaza was going for the dunk and I was like, ‘Nah let me get that.’ So I came in with the left and I was just looking at it.”

“Yeah I know, he was like, ‘You stole my dunk,’ and I was like, ‘You got the next one,” Bell said.
