Despite consecutive first-place finishes, Dusty Baker has been let go by the Washington Nationals after just two seasons, the team announced Friday morning. His contract expired at the end of the season.
Dusty Baker was let go by #Nats despite being one of 3 @MLB managers to win a division title with 4 different teams (D. Johnson, B. Martin).

Baker, 68, was unable to get the Nationals past the NL Division Series in both seasons, but his .593 (192-132) winning percentage is currently the best in club history for a manager that lasted more than one year.
Baker served as the Giants’ manager from 1993-2002, finishing with a .540 winning percentage (840-715) and one World Series appearance.
