Steph Curry was once a target of President Donald Trump.
Now, he’s been called out in the newest GOP tax plan.
On Thursday morning, Franklin Leonard discovered that Curry was the only person mentioned in the entire 429-page Tax Cuts and Job Acts document. The Warriors’ star was mentioned in a paragraph indicating that the tax plan would distinguish between multi-millionaires like Curry, and small-business owners in control of “Steve’s Bike Shop”.

Naturally, Curry had a response.
I wonder if Steve’s Bike shop is hiring…

Curry is reportedly making over $34 million this season, after signing a record five-year, $201 million contract over the offseason. In late September, Curry’s critical comments of the current administration were mentioned in tweets by President Trump when the Warriors were told they would not be welcome to celebrate their 2017 NBA Championship at the White House.
