OAKLAND–All is well in the world of Nick Young.
Even though the small forward is playing less minutes than he has in the past, having a coach like Steve Kerr who is upfront and transparent with how much minutes he’ll play is a breath of fresh air from what he’d been used at previous stops in the NBA.
He’s also acclimating to life in the Bay Area like a pro. Recently Young went to twitter to ask Bay Area residents where the best doughnut spot in area was. He settled on Bob’s doughnuts in San Francisco, and filmed himself trying out a few of the pastries.
At shootaround Monday, Young was asked by reporters about his doughnut experience. The topic of conversation then shifted to how he’s comfortable on camera, and whether he’s ever been approached to do his own reality television show.
“Yeah,” Young said with a grin. “Plenty of times. I gotta get the best offers, you know? I can’t just go anywhere. I gotta take my talents to the best places.”
The Southern California product was then asked what his asking price is for his own Television show.
“I need Kardashian prices,” he said, laughing.
Stay in the spotlight, and those dreams might not be too far off.
