It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
In Golden State, all is swell as Draymond Green and the Warriors have jumped out to an 8-3 start and are riding a four-game win streak featuring four consecutive blowout victories. In Cleveland, all is not well, as LeBron James and the Cavaliers are tied for 11th place in the Eastern Conference after posting a dismal 4-6 mark through their first 10 games.
The Cavaliers struggles led James to post an Instagram on Monday evening of the popular “Arthur fist” meme, a post that James captioned “Mood…”
On Tuesday morning, Green appeared to respond to James’ post with an Instagram of his own, using the same caption, but offering up a picture with a slightly different connotation.
It’s no secret James and Green have a history together, and Green’s Instagram troll is just the latest chapter in the Warriors-Cavaliers saga.
While James has strung together several impressive individual performances this season, his team hasn’t exactly backed him up, losing blowouts against the Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Pelicans and New York Knicks as well as a close game against the Brooklyn Nets. On the other side of the country, Green and the Warriors appear to be finding their rhythm, as Golden State has knocked off four straight opponents, winning all four games by at least 18 points.
On Monday night, Green hit four three-pointers to lead the Warriors past the Miami Heat, giving him plenty of reason to be in a good MOOD.
