OAKLAND–Beast Mode? More like Peace Mode.
When Sunday’s game at the Oakland Coliseum took a chaotic turn, there was only one man who could ease the tensions: Marshawn Lynch.
During the first quarter of Sunday’s divisional showdown between the Raiders and Broncos, Oakland wide receiver Michael Crabtree and Denver cornerback Aqib Talib started a massive brawl, throwing punches at one another in a fight that resulted in their ejections, as well as the ejection of Raiders’ lineman Gabe Jackson.

For Talib to exit the field, he needed to walk past the Raiders’ bench, which was loaded with players who were unhappy with Talib for his actions. Fortunately for the cornerback, Lynch was there to escort him past the Oakland sideline, ensuring that he safely made his way to the locker room and didn’t have to deal with any additional repercussions.
Marshawn Lynch: A man of the people, and a peacekeeper.
Lynch has more control over the Raiders than the Raider coaches.
