Draymond rants for three minutes about why he doesn’t like NBA’s ‘Two Minute Reports’

OAKLAND – It’s been a while since we got a good Draymond Green rant. I was starting to think we might be past the days where Green would pop off for minutes at a time about something the league, opposing teams, or Donald Trump (to name a few) had done to get his attention.

We’re not, thankfully.

Wednesday Green had strong words for why he doesn’t like the league’s ‘Two Minute Reports,’ a practice where the NBA reviews calls in the final two minutes of close games to hold referees accountable. This comes a day after the league said Kevin Durant fouled LeBron James three times in the final minutes on Christmas.

“Why would you just judge the last two minutes of the game?” Green questioned after shootaround Wednesday morning. “What about the call that was missed in the third quarter? What about the call that was missed in the first quarter?”

Green also has a problem with the fact that the Two Minute Report can’t change anything, all it does is make the referees look bad.

“I don’t think it makes much sense at all. You know sometimes we do stuff in life…we just don’t want to say like, ‘yeah we going to go away with this because we started it.’ Maybe the league don’t want to go away with it because they started doing it.

“But I think they should just go away with it.”

Warriors host the Utah Jazz Wednesday night, the fourth game of a seven game homestand. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m..
