In case you’re unaware, Red Panda, whose real name is Rong Niu, often performs an incredible routine at halftime during Warriors games, and throughout the country, where she rides a seven-foot tall unicycle while flipping bowls from her feet to her head. It’s pretty incredible.
Unfortunately, her seven-foot unicycle was taken at the Denver airport earlier this week, causing her to cancel at least one appearance, according to KTVU, and perform five others with a custom bike that isn’t cutting it.
“She’s doing horribly,” her agent told the Washington Post. “She’s dropping bowls. She’s just not used to it. The one that was stolen was custom built for her.”
On Friday, the Golden State Warriors COO Rick Welts came to the rescue, announcing on Twitter that the team has replaced Red Panda’s unicycle with a custom made one.
“The Red Panda is legendary and absolutely loved and adored by everyone, especially our fans and season tickets holders. With a new, custom made unicycle we are glad that we could do our small part to help this great tradition continue.” -Warriors President & COO @RickWelts pic.twitter.com/EjPhHFYGbQ

“The cloud has lifted,” her agent said.
Happy Friday everybody.
