Klay Thompson earned a score of 25 points in the championship round of the 2018 JBL Three-Point Contest at All-Star Saturday Night, but it wasn’t enough to win him his second 3-point title.
Despite Thompson’s strong showing, it was third-year Suns guard Devin Booker who won the contest with a record-setting score of 28 points.
Thompson ultimately finished second in the championship round. The other finalist, the Clippers’ Tobias Harris, earned a score of 17 points.
Thompson’s first-round score of 19 points tied Booker for the best score of the round, while Harris scored 18 points to round out the top three that advanced to the championship round.
