Of the nine players listed on the Golden State Warriors’ injury report for Monday night’s meeting with the San Antonio Spurs, Patrick McCaw was listed as probable for the first time in over a month, after missing the last 13 games with a fractured left wrist. He is expected to return and play around 15-20 minutes, Steve Kerr told reporters at shoot around.

McCaw’s last game came on February 12 against the Phoenix Suns. He scored nine points while shooting 4-6 in just under eight minutes before leaving the game late in the second quarter.
Initially, it appeared as if McCaw had sprained his left wrist, but it was later reported that he had suffered a small fracture.
McCaw’s injury came amidst what has proved to be a tough sophomore season. He was shooting 25 percent from beyond the three point line before his injury while averaging just 3.7 points per game, slightly less than during his promising rookie season. His struggles prompted him to request a demotion to the G-League, which seemed to help McCaw regain his aggressiveness upon returning to Golden State, only to sustain the wrist injury shortly thereafter.
Soon after McCaw’s injury, the Warriors saw Stephen Curry (tweaked right ankle), Klay Thompson (fractured right thumb), and Kevin Durant (right rib soreness) all hit the shelf with various ailments. Without Curry,Thompson, and McCaw, the Warriors have been with only three guards, Nick Young, Shaun Livingston, and Quinn Cook, for the past three games.
