Here we go again.
Kevin Durant can’t seem to go more than a few months without making headlines on social media. On Monday, Sports Illustrated discovered that Durant liked a comment on Instagram about the Oklahoma City Thunder stating: “The problem was Westbrook. They had a good ass team.”

Shortly after the tweet went viral, Durant told ESPN’s Royce Young that it was a “total accident” and an honest mistake.
Kevin Durant tells me it was a "total accident" that he liked a comment on Instagram about Russell Westbrook. Was just an honest mistake.

Durant made waves earlier in the season when he sent a number of tweets critical of the Thunder organization, former coach Billy Donovan and his Oklahoma City teammates, for not being good enough. Bizarrely, however, the replies were written in the third person, leaving many to speculate that Durant meant to reply with a separate “burner” account pretending to be someone else, but accidentally forgot to log out from his main account.
KD has secret accounts that he uses to defend himself and forgot to switch to them when he was replying to this guy I'm actually speechless pic.twitter.com/9245gnpa3c

Durant apologized for the tweets, but has never admitted to having so-called “burner” accounts.
