After being upgraded from doubtful to questionable Tuesday afternoon, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced Andre Iguodala will not play in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.
“If he was close, he’d play,” Kerr said. “He’s injured. We’ll see what happens in a couple days.”
The Warriors are officially listing Iguodala as having a “left lateral leg contusion,” sustained during a collision with James Harden during the fourth quarter of Game 3.

Playing into Golden State’s decision not to play the 34-year old is likely the fact that there are no more extended breaks during the series. Golden State will get only one day of rest before Thursday’s Game 5 in Houston, during which they will take a two time zone flight.
Through three games in the series, Iguodala is averaging 8.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists in just over 27 minutes per game. The Warriors have been +32 with Iguodala on the floor.
