Kerr provides updates on Thompson, Iguodala for Game 5

Though both players are still officially listed as questionable, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr provided a more detailed update on the injury status of Klay Thompson (knee) and Andre Iguodala (leg) ahead of Thursday night’s Game 5 in Houston.

“I think, I believe Klay will play but we’re still listing him as questionable, we’ve got to see how he feels pregame. And Andre, again, incremental progress and we’ll see. Game-time decision, he needs more treatment, and he’ll probably warm up tonight and we’ll see what happens.”

Iguodala missed Game 4 after sustaining a left leg injury while colliding with James Harden in Game 3. Though initially thought to be minor, Kerr told reporters before Tuesday’s game that Iguodala is “injured.” Here’s the play in question.

Thompson’s knee issue seems less serious, as the Warriors guard continued to play in Game 4 after sustaining the injury in the second quarter. Thompson didn’t exactly look like himself, however, going 4-of-13 from the field while scoring just 10 points.
