Andre Iguodala to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals

After missing the previous six games with a contusion in his left leg, Andre Iguodala will return for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.

“I don’t know how many minutes he’d be able to play, but he’s been feeling pretty good the last two days,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said during Wednesday’s shootaround. “Made a lot of improvement from where he was, so it’s all leaning in the right direction.”

Iguodala hasn’t played since the tail end of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, when he knocked knees with James Harden. Iguodala participated in his first full practice since sustaining the injury, on Tuesday, after sitting out for nearly two and a half weeks.

In 13 games this postseason, Iguodala is averaging 7.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.4 steals in 27.4 minutes per game.
