The full NBA schedule won’t be announced for a few days, but the upcoming Christmas Day matchups have already trickled out via a report from the New York Times.
Most notably, the Warriors will host the new look Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James in tow, in what is likely to be the last Christmas Day game at Oracle Arena before Golden Sate moves into their new San Francisco home in 2019-20. Warriors-Lakers is just one in a slate of five games to be played on December 25, including Celtics-Sixers, Bucks-Knicks, Jazz-Blazers, and Thunder-Rockets.
This will be the sixth consecutive year the Warriors have played on Christmas Day, with the team going 3-2 in the five previous contests. This will be the fourth year in a row Golden State has faced LeBron on Christmas.
