TMZ has obtained video of Nick Young’s arrest in Hollywood from last Friday, when the former Warriors guard was apprehended during a routine traffic stop and earned a misdemeanor charge for delaying an investigation. According to TMZ Sports, the 11-year NBA veteran “refused to cooperate with the officers on scene.”
In the video posted above, Young can be heard saying “Am I resisting?” as officers handcuff him, before putting him in the back of the patrol car.
Young, 33, is currently a free agent, and is unlikely to be re-signed by the Warriors after joining the team last offseason for the mid-level exception. Young had an up-and-down campaign in Golden State, shooting 37.7 percent from 3, while averaging 7.3 points in 17.4 minutes per game.
Young has had an eventful offseason after winning the title in 2017-18, also making waves earlier this summer when he told TMZ “Everybody needs to do cocaine”, as he was leaving a club in Southern California.
