According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors could be set to lose one of their front office executives. Wojnarowski reported Friday morning that the Philadelphia 76ers have been granted permission to interview Larry Harris, the Warriors’ assistant general manager and director of player personnel.

Harris is slated to be at least one of three front office executives the Sixers have been granted permission to interview. The other two are the Houston Rockets’ Gersson Rosas, their executive vice president of basketball operations, and Justin Zanik, the assistant general manager for the Utah Jazz.

Harris was the general manager of the Milwaukee Bucks from 2003 to 2008, where he drafted Andrew Bogut first in the 2005 NBA Draft. In the 2008-09 season, Harris served as an assistant coach with the Warriors before becoming a scout and consultant in the following year. He was named director of player personnel in 2015 and added the title of assistant general manager in 2016.

The Sixers have been searching for a new general manager after parting ways with Bryan Colangelo before the draft, following reports that he used Twitter burner accounts to talk about confidential team information. Following the move, the Sixers promoted their head coach Brett Brown to general manager, allowing him to oversee the drafting and trading of Mikal Bridges to the Phoenix Suns for Zhaire Smith and a 2021 first-round draft pick.
