And so it begins.
With reports that Kevin Durant is leaving Golden State next year, the back-to-back NBA Finals MVP’s future is going to be a storyline all season, like it or not.
After Tuesday night’s game, Durant’s brother Tony made some waves on Instagram, with a comment on KD’s post wearing two championship rings. The comment seemed to imply Durant would look to get one more before leaving this offseason. Tony wrote: “Yessir brother!!!! Filling the hand up before we get outta here!”

Tony Durant then clarified his comment in another Instagram comment, saying “get outta here” was a reference to KD retiring.
