OAKLAND – He’s getting close folks – at least, if everything goes according to plan. Stephen Curry practiced today against the team’s “film crew” and assistant coach Willie Green according to head coach Steve Kerr. Based on how Curry looked today, he’s a “full go” for practice on Tuesday and ideally Wednesday, Kerr said.
“Steph looked good today, totally dominated the film crew,” Kerr said. “Willie (Green) put up a pretty good fight, he’s a couple years past his prime too. All in all, it was a successful venture. He’s just trying to get his rhythm and his conditioning down. He’s doing well.”
Curry has not played for the Warriors since exiting a 134-118 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on November 8 with a left adductor strain. His return to the court appears imminent at this point, as long as he doesn’t suffer any complications. Kerr did not rule out Curry’s potential return on Thursday against the Toronto Raptors.
“He might (play),” Kerr said. “We’ll see how he does tomorrow.”
