In an exclusive interview with Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area, Warriors forward Andre Iguodala spoke candidly about his NBA future, and how much longer he plans on playing.

“I’m going to be done soon,” Iguodala told Poole. “I could probably play a legit five more years, but I’ll probably max out at three more after this year – maybe three more.

“But if I’m not here, that will weigh heavily on what I will do. I possibly have another year here – if we win. That’s it. I know that. I’m fine with it.”

Iguodala’s last comment is particularly interesting, considering he’s under contract with the Warriors for next season.

“That’s if we win,” he told Poole.

At 34 years old, Iguodala is the oldest member of the Warriors, and continues to see his playing time decrease slightly as Golden State tries to keep him fresh for the postseason. Through 20 games this season, Iguodala is posting career lows in points per game (4.5) and field goal attempts per game (3.7).
