Few players endeared themselves to the Oracle Arena faithful like JaVale McGee. The man’s idiosyncrasies, his hilarious, joyous personality combined with his superb athleticism in a 7’1” frame all combined to bring an added layer of excitement and positivity over the Warriors’ last two title runs.
In his two seasons with the Warriors, McGee only averaged 6.1 points and 4.8 points, and 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 rebounds per game, but his value was in being a spark plug and providing much-needed size in the front court.
