Mike Yastrzemski keeps Giants ahead with great catch at wall

A big day for Mike Yastrzemski did not stop at the plate.

The Giants right fielder, who already had three hits (including a pair of doubles) and had scored two runs with two RBIs, did some run-prevention, too.

With one out in the sixth in a game the Giants were leading, 5-4, Franmil Reyes lifted a fastball to right off Madison Bumgarner. Yastrzemski thought he had a bead on it in deep right, then on the warning track, then at the wall. The ball just kept traveling.

After 342 feet, Yastrzemski rose and took away what may have been a game-tying homer. He preserved the one-run lead, and an animated Bumgarner appreciated it.
