The Warriors just quietly made a very nice move. The team announced on Wednesday that it had signed two players to its available pair of two-way contracts (the team waived forward Julian Washburn who it acquired in the Andre Iguodala trade earlier in the offseason) in Damion Lee and Ky Bowman.

Bowman’s signing was reported very early in the offseason, right at the start of the Warriors’ summer league campaign, but the deal was made official today. Lee, however, was up in the air. The 26-year-old played extremely well on two-way deal last season, and may have been a contender for the Warriors’ final roster spot if the team was not hard-capped and unable to fill its 15th spot. He averaged 20.3 points (47.5 percent from field, 39.8 percent from three), 6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G-League last season.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Connor Letourneau, Lee was looking for non-two-way deals elsewhere, with the Warriors keeping the second two-way slot available for him, and eventually reaching an agreement. Lee, of course, is married to Sydel Lee-Curry, the sister of Stephen Curry.

Bowman, an undersized 6’1″ guard, went to Boston College, where he averaged 19 points (40 percent from the field, 37.4 percent from 3-point (2.5/6.8 per game), 76.1 percent from FT), 7.5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.5 turnovers per game last season. He averaged 2.3 points per game on 22 percent shooting in four Las Vegas Summer League games.
