An ex-girlfriend of DeMarcus Cousins has accused the former Warriors center of threatening to kill her and claims to have the audio to prove it.
A recording published by TMZ (listen above) allegedly features a conversation between the ex, Christy West, and Cousins, regarding allowing their son to attend DeMarcus’ wedding which took place last Saturday.
“I’m gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level,” the man on the recording says. “Can I have my son here, please?”
When West says “no”, things escalate quickly.
“I’m gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f–king head,” the man says.
West also claims that Cousins said he was going to kill her “even if he didn’t have to get his hands dirty doing it.” According to TMZ, she also told the Mobile, AL Police Department that Cousins choked her during a previous incident.
Cousins’ seven-year-old son was reportedly not in attendance at his wedding on Saturday. Cousins, now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, has yet to publicly comment on the accusations.
