A former University of Kentucky standout will be joining the Warriors this preseason. Andrew Harrison, who played with his twin brother Aaron at UK, is signing a training camp contract with the Warriors, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The Warriors are set to enter the training camp period with a open roster spot.

Harrison, 24, was a second-round pick by the Phoenix Suns in 2015, but didn’t break in until the 2016-17 season with the Memphis Grizzlies. Harrison started a career-high 46 games with the Grizzlies in 2017-18 averaging 9.5 points and 3.2 assists per game. Harrison featured in just 11 NBA games last season after signing a two-way deal with Cleveland, and finished the season playing in Russia.

Harrison and his brother helped lead Kentucky to successive Final Fours in 2014 and 2015. Harrison is a point guard by trade, but at 6-foot-6 can also play on the wing.
