Over $200,000 worth of items were stolen from former Warriors center JaVale McGee’s Los Angeles home on Saturday, according to TMZ.
One of the items stolen was one of McGee’s two championship rings he won with the Warriors during his two-season tenure from 2016-2018. Other items taken from the pair of safes were cash, jewelry and the goggles used during the locker room celebration. No arrests have been made as police are reviewing surveillance footage from the home.
McGee, 31, signed with the Lakers last season in free agency, and re-signed this summer on a two-year, $8.2 million deal. McGee averaged 8 points and 2.3 rebounds during the Warriors’ 2018 NBA Finals victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
