The Warriors second-best player, Klay Thompson, is already likely out for the season. Now their third and fourth best players are banged up as well.
Both Draymond Green and Kevon Looney left Thursday’s home opener with injuries. Draymond returned in the second quarter after exiting early in the first quarter with what was described postgame as a “nerve issue” in his right elbow.
“Yeah (the arm) was pretty dead,” Green said. “It’s still sore, like really sore. It’ll get better.”
Draymond hurt the elbow during a play three minutes into the game, while setting a screen on Patrick Beverley.

Looney did not return after halftime, with what the team believes is a slightly aggravated hamstring.
“There was some (right hamstring tightness),” Looney said. “Precautionary. That obviously hurt us. Looney did a great job in the fist half and defensively, without him, we really struggled to say the least.”
The team has not indicated if either player is likely to miss Sunday’s game in Oklahoma City.
