Well this is surprising.
After losing at home to the Seahawks a month and a half ago, the 49ers are favored by a field goal in Sunday’s battle in Seattle for the NFC West crown, according to multiple sports books. This the first time the 49ers have been favored at CenturyLink Field since December of 2011.
Some betting sites are doing even more to entice folks to bet on the Seahawks, with the +3 on Bovada listed at better than even odds (+105) meaning a $100 bet on Seattle to cover the spread would pay out $105.
The Seahawks are coming off a surprising two touchdown home loss to the Cardinals (5-9-1) and will be without their top three running backs and starting left tackle. Jadeveon Clowney, who missed the Cardinals game with a core issue, is expected to return.
The 49ers, meanwhile, are coming off a last second win vs. the Rams after a let down to the Falcons at home last week. San Francisco is 5-2 against the spread on the road this season, while the Seahawks are 2-5 ATS at home.
