You come at Richard Sherman, you best not miss.
After being heavily criticized for representing himself in contract negotiations with the 49ers, Sherman took his critics to task on Friday following news of his selection to the All-Pro team. Sherman’s selection to both the Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams triggered incentives in his contract that bumped up next years salary to $8 million guaranteed. He also earned an additional $3 million for this season.
Sherman is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next offseason, and should still have significant value on the open market if his level of play continues.
Sherman, like Draymond Green, is known for using slights, real or perceived, by others as motivation. That was certainly the case on Friday, as Sherman relished the opportunity to go at those who called into question his decision not to use an agent one-by-one on Twitter. Enjoy. This story will be updated as the trolling continues.

Maybe it’s a tale of players knowing their abilities and believing in themselves. More players have incentives that can’t be achieved and are negotiated by agents but hey let’s not talk about that https://t.co/Jet2cJoQyC

No agent fees for me. Get to keep the money that I earned. Fellas these agents negotiate incentives into deals all the time. You do all the work achieving them and they see the benefit. ??♂️
