⚾️??‍? Loved being a “Guest Math Instructor” for the Flemming Family’s social isolation/self-quarantining home schooling class. I call it “Historical statistical formulas from baseball’s ancient classical era.” ***Thanks to Katie, Carter and David (and Professor Dave, of course!). @flemmfam ************************************************************ #sfgiants #sfgigantes #socialisolation #selfquarantine #homeschoollife #stayhome #savelives #staysafe #theimportantstuff #sfgiantsfan #johnnycueto #busterposey #jrgiants ************************************************************ @sfgiants @sfgigantes @knbr @nbcsauthentic @nbcbayarea @espn @sfgate @pavlovicnbcs @johnnycueto47 @baseballhall @mlbnetwork @mlb @gojrgiants

Wondering what the Giants broadcasters are doing without baseball?

Jon Miller’s always entertaining Instagram account provided some insight on Friday. Miller is moonlighting as a “Guest Math Instructor” for Dave Flemming’s kids, who are being homeschooled like all Bay Area children due to the shelter-in-place directive.

In a lesson plan Miller dubs the “historical statistical formulas from baseball’s ancient, classical era” the legendary broadcaster is teaching Flemming’s kids the “important stuff” like how to calculate ERA and batting average.

This is the wholesome content we all need during this very strange time.
