"You doing something great no matter what it is, they're coming for you… People who actually know what they're talking about they're gonna speak facts & truth."

Because there isn’t much real sports news, LeBron James’ business partner — Maverick Carter — made headlines on Tuesday, when he did a drive-by on Stephen Curry’s defense while speaking to Draymond Green on an UNINTERRUPTED podcast.
“It’s just like the Warriors — the world knows Steph (Curry) can’t fucking play defense,” Carter said. “I’m 38 — haven’t played a decent game of basketball in 18 years — Steph would have trouble guarding me.”
So how did Curry respond? Exactly as you’d expect. The two-time NBA MVP and three time champion simply can’t be bothered.
“I hear it all, I don’t go lookin’ for it but I got some goons out there that send me every link possible,” Curry said Wednesday morning on “Pursue Your Passion.” “I know what’s up.
“You know my sense of humor. I don’t ever get bent out of shape about the things I can’t control. I have realized that with all the success that we’ve had and the heights that we’ve been to…when you’re doing something great no matter what it is, they’re coming for you.
“I’m so secure in who I am and who I know I am on the court, that’s why I never respond to anybody. Either I’m agreeing with you or I’m laughin’.
“… I have no problem letting stuff live knowing that people who actually know what they’re talking about, they’re gonna speak facts and truth. When I’m done playing and retired, there’s still gonna be haters. The hate’s always louder than the praise at times, which sucks, but I’m just so unbothered.”
We can think of at least one former teammate of Steph’s who might benefit from taking a similar approach when it comes to haters.
