Yaz touched ’em all.
One of the Giants’ hottest sluggers went from home to home during a wild play in the fourth inning, that gave San Francisco a 3-2 lead over the Oakland A’s.
With two men on, Mike Yastrzemski hit a high fastball off Sean Manea into right field that was misplayed by Stephen Piscotty, leading both runs to score and sending Yaz sprinting towards third. Shortstop Marcus Semien’s relay throw to try and get Yastrzemski bounced off his head and into the Giants dugout, giving him the green light to take home on the error.
