The Milwaukee Bucks decided not to play basketball on Wednesday.
Scheduled to play Game 5 of their first-round series vs. the Magic in the Orlando bubble, Bucks players and coaches refused to take the court, as a means of protesting Jacob Blake, an unarmed Black man, being shot from behind by police officers seven times in Kenosha, Wis.
Shortly after the news broke, both the Thunder and Rockets decided to boycott Game 5 of their first-round series scheduled for Wednesday evening.
The Bucks players made this decision in the wake of the Jacob Blake shooting in Wisconsin, ultimately deciding that they wouldn't leave the locker room for the start of Game 5 against Orlando. https://t.co/COJ6E0aJLj

“We’re tired of the killings and the injustice,” Bucks guard George Hill told The Undefeated.
There has yet to be an announcement regarding Thursday’s games, or what will happen to the NBA bubble in the immediate future.
LeBron James tweeted, “FUCK THIS MAN!!!! WE DEMAND CHANGE. SICK OF IT” after the boycott was announced.
The league then sent out a press release announcing all games on Wednesday were being postponed and will be rescheduled.
