Alex Dickerson hit the longest home run by a Giant since Statcast started tracking that data in 2015. Then he hit another.
Last year’s unlikely star did so in back-to-back at-bats in back-to-back innings in the Giants’ series opener in Colorado on Tuesday evening. The first bomb landed in the upper deck and traveled an approximate 480 feet, the longest since at least 2015, eclipsing a 475 foot Brandon Belt blast from that season.
The second homer traveled 426 feet, for a cumulative distance of 906 feet in two innings for the outfielder who is starting to look more and more like the player San Francisco built their lineup around last season.
Oh we're ????' goin'.
