We’re not ones to praise the Dodgers here at KNBR, but sometimes you have to tip your cap. That’s what we’re doing to the Dodgers ball girl who was working the first-base line during Sunday’s game vs. the Angels.
When a fan made his way on the field during the game, he evaded about seven security guards before heading into foul territory in left as he attempted to get back into the stands. That’s when the ball girl took matters into her own hands.
Getting in a form tackle position, she lunged at the culprit, knocking him off balance and sending him somersaulting over the wall, where security apprehended him. The takedown elicited an “Ohhhhh!” from the crowd.
