It’s like a storyline out of a network sitcom. Fan fakes sick to go to a sporting event, then gets caught when cameras show them cheering on television. Could never actually happen though right?
Wrong, according to a video posted by a 49ers fan named Kelvin on Tik Tok, who appears to be the victim(?) of this very scenario.
The video starts with a text exchange between Kelvin and his boss, where he asks if he can stay home because he’s feeling sick. His boss obliges, before sending him another text later on that day asking how he’s feeling. Kelvin claims he’s okay and just relaxing, but his boss responds with a screen shot of the telecast, showing Kelvin in the Levi’s Stadium stands.
Kelvin concedes defeat, responding with the Homer Simpson sinking into the hedges meme. “Caught your ugly a– in 4K,” his boss responds.
