What a great way to start a Tuesday.
Former Giants manager Bruce Bochy joined KNBR during the tail end of Murph & Mac’s weekly chat with his old friend and longtime broadcaster Duane Kuiper. Kuip decided to stick around, and caught up with Bochy for a delightful 15 minutes.
The conversation was wide ranging but also featured some news, notably that Bochy will be inducted by Tim Flannery into the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame next Monday. Bochy also responded to rumors that he’ll return to managing, saying as he’s said before that he’ll probably take a call, but he’s not sure he’d accept.
The interview closed on a heartwarming note.
Kuip: “I miss you, Boch, and I love ya.”
Bochy: “Right back at you, Kuip.”
