Friday night, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan reportedly had dinner with recently released cornerback Richard Sherman. On Saturday, the two parties are apparently discussing a multi-year deal, ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 49ers scheduled a meeting with Sherman, which will take place sometime today. Should it go well, Schefter didn’t rule out the possibility of Sherman staying in the NFC West.
