Russell Westbrook is gone and James Harden is nowhere to be found.
That’s the story in Houston during the start of their training camp, where Harden, who’s reportedly informed the team he’d like to be traded, missed the team’s first practice on Saturday due to COVID-19 protocols according to new head coach Stephen Silas. Harden was then expected to be present for an individual workout on Sunday. He missed that too. He’s reportedly told Rockets management that he’ll report “soon.”

Harden’s lack of attendance this weekend coincided with multiple videos on social media of the former MVP clubbing in Las Vegas. On Thursday he attended the birthday party of rapper Lil Baby, which took place inside a crowded nightclub, COVID be damned.

Harden was also filmed out on Sunday night, apparently still in Vegas.

Word on the street is that the Rockets have no interest in moving Harden this year, unless they are blown away by an offer, and new acquisition John Wall says he has spoken with Harden who assured him he wants to play with him.
At the moment, however, Harden doesn’t seem to have much interest in joining his teammates.
