Fashion week seems like a good time, until French police get unnecessarily involved. Per videos from the last few days, James Harden has been in Paris for the event with rapper Lil Baby. There is a pretty hilarious video of the two walking out of their hotel and looking dazed while being absolutely bombarded by French press, which seems like a jarring experience, especially when you’re, uh… jet lagged.

After the two went to a fashion show, they were reportedly detained by the French police, as Harden, who was not arrested, according to ESPN, seemed to plead with police to allow the rapper to leave.
French outlet Le Parisien reported the following:
“The Parisian police have indeed arrested three individuals, including the American rapper, for transporting narcotics. At 4:50 p.m. exactly, at 33 avenue Montaigne, local police checked the three passengers of a vehicle that smelled strongly of cannabis. Among them, the artist Dominique Jones, better known as Lil Baby. During the search of the vehicle by a judicial police officer, approximately 20g of herbal cannabis was discovered in the passenger compartment.”
There is video above of Harden being patted down by police as well as the following, which seems to show the rapper being arrested.

Again, all of this, according to Le Parisien, is over 20 grams of cannabis.
