The Giants are bringing back another familiar name, as they are close to signing reliever Jean Machi to a minor league deal, according to a report.

Machi was with the Giants for four seasons before being released in 2015, posting an 11-2 record and a 3.24 ERA out of the bullpen.
A few days ago, Machi was arrested in Des Moines Iowa for public intoxication and urinating in public and was subsequently released by the Chicago Cubs. Machi was pitching for the Cubs’ Triple-A affiliate before his arrest.
