Tim Flannery knows Bruce Bochy better than anyone. He also knows how important a bullpen is from his three World Series championships with the Giants.
“You win championships with bench and bullpen,” Flannery said. For Giants fans everywhere, last night’s painful loss in the 9th inning was an all too familiar narrative to what has plagued the Giants all season.
Flannery also knows that only so much blame can be placed on the manager. “Everybody had their opportunity this year,” Flannery said.
It is clear that the San Francisco Giants need some major changes in their bullpen. It should be an interesting off-season for the Orange and Black.
