On Friday Kevin Durant started his own YouTube channel, where he says he’ll be sharing live videos throughout the Warriors run to give fans a behind the scenes look at his life off the basketball court.
At the time of posting, the channel has only two videos. The livestream above, and a trailer of what’s to come:
Got my own @YouTube channel – watch the trailer now & stay tuned, going live this afternoon: https://t.co/BKAwQBEspg #LockedIn #PlayoffTime

In his first live video of the channel we get to meet Chef Ryan, his dog, and get to check a great view of the bay from Durant’s backyard.
A YouTube channel like this isn’t that surprising if you believe the exposure of moving to The Bay was a major draw that brought Durant from Oklahoma City. In the age where athletes can make more money for what they do off the court than on it, videos like this make sense.
Either way, it’s a cool look into the life of one of the best basketball players on the planet.
